하나가 된 기쁨

마침내, 나무에 하얀 목련이 활짝
초록잎새를 피우는 봄이 왔구나
창밖에는 목련이 종을 치며 
폭죽을 터트리고 기쁜 마음으로 
한 번지수를 갖게 되었네라

꽃과 꽃들이 모여서 향기를 피우면
새와 새들은 하늘을 날면서 노래 부르리
두 송이 꽃이 나비와 벌을 부르며
부지런히 가정과 사회에 단꿀을 모으리

한 조각 빵을 나누어 먹으며
믿음과 소망과 웃음으로 부자가 되고
뜨는 해와 달을 보며
진한 커피 향으로
매일 새로운 아침 맞이하기를
꽃 피는 창가, 항상 한 쌍의
나비와 벌처럼 나풀 나풀 춤추며 살기를

The Joy of Being One

At last, the green leaves of spring have come
White magnolias burst into full bloom
Tolling like bells outside our window
Firecrackers exploding with joy
As we share the same abode

Flowers come together with fragrance
Birds sing as they soar in the sky
Two flowers cry out for butterflies and bees
To gather sweet honey for home and hamlet

Breaking bread together
Becoming rich with faith, hope, and laughter
Watching the rising sun and moon
With the aroma of strong coffee
Wishing every morning
To live by a flowering window, always a pair,
Like dancing butterflies and bees

삶

먼 바다를 항해하다 보면
쨍쨍한 햇빛에 갈증도 나고
폭풍을 만나
배가 흔들리기도 하네

서로의 손을 잡고
가슴으로 뜨거워지는
사랑의 노래를 부르면 
앞이 보이지 않는 비바람에도  
거친 바다를 헤쳐가리 

갈매기가 나르는 길을 같이 가면서
남은 여정을 힘겨워 말고 헤아려
뒤 돌아 온 날을 거울삼아
다른 사람의 등대가 되리라

혼자서는 가지 못할 항해에
함께 헤쳐 나가면
세찬 바람에도
고요하고 푸른 나무들이 기다리는 
섬에 닿을 수 있다네

You thirst under a burning sun
The storm
Shakes your boat

If you hold hands
Singing words of love
Deeply etched in your hearts
You will navigate the rough seas
Through blinding wind and rain

Follow the path of the seagull
Do not fear the journey ahead
But reflect on its days
Let it be a guiding light for others

On a voyage you dare not take on your own
If you travel together
Even in strong storms
You will reach the island of tranquility
Where green forests await you
